The Formula 1 7-Day Meal Plan

Day 1
Breakfast
fruit, tea, yoghurt with wholegrain cereals
Morning snack
yoghurt, 6 raw almonds
Lunch
watercress and carrot salad, grilled sole, 4 walnuts
Dinner
cream of pumpkin soup, spinach tortilla, plain yoghurt

Day 2
Breakfast
pineapple, tea, 6 raw almonds, tortillas made with 1 egg and 1 egg-white
Lunch
steamed broccoli, grilled sardines, yoghurt
Afternoon snack
1 piece of fruit
Dinner
mashed zucchini, oven baked hake

Day 3
Breakfast
pineapple with wholegrain cereals, tea, reduced-fat cheese
Morning snack
2 mandarins
Lunch
lentil salad, grilled prawns, 6 raw almonds
Afternoon snack
pineapple
Dinner
steamed vegetables, grilled turkey breast

Day 4
Breakfast
fruit, tea, yoghurt with wholegrain cereals, 4 walnuts
Morning snack
pineapple
Lunch
endive and carrot salad, grilled turnips and pumpkin
Afternoon snack
yoghurt
Dinner
vegetable soup, scrambled eggs with mushrooms and asparagus

Day 5
Breakfast
pineapple with wholegrain cereals, tea, reduced-fat cheese
Morning snack
2 mandarins
Lunch
mixed salad, oven baked cod with onions, yoghurt
Dinner
oven baked eggplant or vegetables, grilled tuna

Day 6
Breakfast
fruit with wholegrain cereals, yoghurt with 6 raw almonds
Morning snack
pineapple
Lunch
rocket and carrot salad, grilled sole with asparagus
Dinner
cream of pumpkin soup, 1 hard-boiled egg, 6 raw almonds

Day 7
Breakfast
fruit, plain yoghurt with wholegrain cereals
Morning snack
pineapple
Lunch
rocket salad with pears, spaghetti with clams, yoghurt
Afternoon snack
1 piece of fruit
Dinner
grilled zucchini, grilled sirloin

Suggestions:
• to drink two litres of water a day
• hydrate with water and fruit after daily physical activity
• afternoon yoghurt may be eaten as dessert for dinner
