The “Luxury Taste of Italian Truffles” triumphs at EXPO Milan 2015 with new recipes brought to you by Excellent Gusto.

Regions, cultures and food from different countries around the world were the stars of EXPO Milan 2015, the Universal Exposition held under the theme Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life. Truffles have been the crown jewel of Italian excellence!

Excellent Gusto wanted to celebrate the typical truffles of partner Urbani Tartufi, by sharing new recipes created with two ambassadors of Italian cuisine: international chef Luca Ciano and Chef Vittorio Astorino, the new Italian and European Pizza Champion. Truffles and Porcini mushrooms were victorious in Spaghetti “alla Chitarra” by Luca Ciano and the mix Truffles and Tuna were debuted in the delicious “Mare & Boschi” Gourmet Pizza by Vittorio Astorino and Excellent Gusto. Cooking these unique recipes will be a great experience!

Urbani Tartufi is a world leader in the quality and prestige of its elegant products, which are part of the Excellent Gusto “Gioielli Italiani” Collection. Urbani’s truffles grow in the woods of the Umbria region and are linked to an old tradition, handed down for generations. These are mushrooms for refined tastes and gourmet recipes!
