Take an exciting journey into the legendary Lamborghini brand at the Ferruccio Lamborghini Museum, an Italian excellence! You can discover the incredible history of the Bolognese brand created by the brilliant founder Ferruccio Lamborghini and live the dream of the beautiful and powerful Lamborghini cars, the supercars of the ‘Toro’ (the ‘Bull’).
Ferruccio chose the furious Bull as the symbol of the prestigious and energetic Lamborghini emblem because it was his zodiac sign! The Bull is strong, bold and clever, just like Ferruccio’s character. The strong image of the “Charging Bull” perfectly expresses the unique personality of this luxury brand.
The Lamborghini Museum is located near the city of Bologna, in the heart of the Motor Valley, a famous tourist route for sports enthusiasts from around the world. Tonino Lamborghini, Ferruccio’s son, wanted to create a museum for all the fans of the ‘Toro’. Visiting the museum is an unforgettable experience!
The museum’s exhibition occupies 9,000 square meters and includes a bookshop and several exhibition spaces available for events, conventions and gala dinners.
The Museum presents the most significant milestones of the company in a dynamic passage that shows historic photos, videos and the production models of the Lamborghini vehicles known throughout the world: from tractors to burners, the boat designed for the Mille Miglia in 1948, a helicopter, motorbikes and the Lambretta, up until… the legendary Lamborghini cars, famous for their sexy design and high-end technology. Lamborghini is the dream car of all luxury sports car fans!
Fabio Lamborghini, Ferruccio’s nephew and Director of the Museum, tells visitors the extraordinary story of a family that has always worked with courage and passion for the goal of success, then achieving the highest recognition and worldwide fame. The amazing Lamborghini cars are named after some of the most powerful bulls in the world, those used in Spanish bullfights: Miura, Diablo, Murciélago, Aventador and the Countach (the only one not named after a bull). Do you know which was Ferruccio’s favorite? The Miura. Ferruccio described it as the most stunning woman in the world, the most curvy Italian after Sofia Loren! The Miura was extraordinary and fast, the VIPs dream car! The Miura launched the automotive brand into the world and was a rapid success.
Lamborghini invites all the luxury ‘Toro’ fans to celebrate the Ferruccio Lamborghini Centenary by attending the grand “Ferruccio Lamborghini Anniversary” event, taking place from April 26 to 30. Starting from Bologna there will be various attractions taking place on the roads of the Motor Valley, including: beautiful Lamborghini cars on the Autodromo Riccardo Paletti motorsport race track near Parma; visits to museums; an elegant exclusive dinner with Prince Meli Lupi and a special Gala with surprise entertainment for all guests of the evening… and at the heart of the event, the Ferruccio Lamborghini Museum.
