Excellent Gusto is an Italian brand that was born from the idea of promoting Italy and its cuisine at an international level, amidst Tradition and Innovation, through the Excellent Gusto International Online Magazine, Gourmet Events and Culinary Trips.

Excellent Gusto has received international praise and takes pride in its prestigious collaborations with government organisations and academia, such as the University of Sydney Business School, the European Institute of Design, the International School of Comics, the European University Institute, the University of Florence and the Italian Academy of Art and Culture in the UK, for which Excellent Gusto is a “guru of Italian Taste”. Excellent Gusto’s graphic logo was designed by the Florentine painter, Giovanni Bruzzi, who was awarded the title of Official Knight of the Italian Republic for his artistic merits.

With our International Advisory Board we select the best Italian food and wine products and label them as ‘Gioielli Italiani’ (‘Italian Jewels’).

Meet our Staff 

Eva Sinosini
Managing Director

Eva is the Co-Founder of Excellent Gusto brand and Managing Director of Excellent Gusto Magazine. She graduated from the University of Florence majoring in Economics and Tourism Management and has specialised at the University of Sydney Business School. She has worked in finance and marketing for multinational companies, such as General Electric and Novartis and has realised business development consulting projects for international companies and start-ups such as Emirates Airlines and Inika. She is often invited to speak at Universities about how to promote high quality ‘Made-in-Italy’ food & wine products. She speaks four languages and loves to travel, discovering local cuisines and new recipes. Eva describes life like a good wine: “…aging, yet able to bring a smile to your face!”.


Cristina Laziosi Sinosini

Cristina is the Co-Founder of Excellent Gusto brand and Editor of Excellent Gusto Magazine. Creative spirit, curious and dynamic. Since studying Literature and Philosophy at the University of Florence, Cristina has gained a lot of experience in journalism, academics and consulting in marketing and communications. She was a teacher at the University of Florence and has worked for important Italian magazines like l’Informatore Agrario and the daily newspaper La Nazione. She’s the author, screenwriter and artistic director of many international publishing projects, particularly for prestigious publishing houses and production companies such as DeAgostini and Mediaset. She’s been a consultant for brands like Unilever, Piaggio, Heineken, Carapelli Olive Oil, Illy Coffee, Alitalia Airlines and Mercedes-Benz. Cristina loves to begin work with a good Italian Cappuccino!

Marco is a journalist specialising in culinary tourism. In Italy he is always on the road exploring authentic flavours. He thinks that it’s an amazing experience exploring and learning about a Country through its food and wine! For years, Marco has been sharing his love for food & wine through his articles, gourmet events, television programmes and at Rodomonte, his distinctive restaurant in Tuscany.


Boris Laziosi

Boris is an expert sommelier of fine wines in the Bel Paese, which he loves to pair with famous Italian dishes, rich in flavours and aromas. With strong interpersonal skills, he’s a true team player. Boris likes to socialise with people, learning about different cultures and listening to the stories of those who actually work the land. Boris is proud of ‘Made-in-Italy’ products and excited to promote the BEST Italian food and wine labels. He’s a true spokesman of local products.


Enzo Oliveri

Enzo was born on the beautiful Italian island of Sicily and therefore he is known as ‘The Sicilian Chef’. Today he lives in London. At 16, he started to travel around Europe, the USA and Dubai to gain experience by working in important kitchens. He has worked together with the most famous Chefs in the world and has cooked for many international celebrities. His TV show in the UK has many followers. His dishes are nutritious and unique in flavour, while also visually stunning. Enzo oversees all the Excellent Gusto Recipes.


Taylor Zerbey
Content Editor

Taylor is the Content Editor for Excellent Gusto Magazine and she is also a freelance photographer. She is a graduate from the University of Hawaii, located on the island of Oahu, where she studied photography and studio art. Her favorite place in Italy is the Maddalena Archipelago. Taylor loves Italian film, Italian coffee bars and the occasional bomboloni caldi at 4pm!


Leith Steel

After graduating Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, Leith pursued a professional culinary career cooking and eating her way through noted Italian, French and Japanese restaurants, with a stop along the way to get a “Grand Diplome” in Culinary Arts from Le Cordon Blue. Eventually, she left the kitchen to become a marketing, communications and public relations consultant for hotels and restaurants. After nearly 15 years, first working in the culinary arts, then in communications, she left her home country of the USA to live in Italy, the land of good coffee on every corner, where pasta inspires passion and gelato is a revered art form. Leith now lives between the USA and Italy where she is always on the lookout for new gourmet experiences.
